MX cross stem — the vast majority of MX keycaps fit directly.

MX hotswap socket (Kailh/Gateron)
Uses the standard MX hotswap socket; both 5-pin and 3-pin switches seat in it.

MX and Choc sockets are separate standards with different footprints — not interchangeable.

KNOWN TRAP MX switches come as 5-pin (PCB-mount: 2 metal pins + 2 plastic guide legs) or 3-pin (plate-mount: legs removed). To use a 5-pin switch in a plate-mount board, clip the plastic legs; 3-pin switches rely on a plate for stability.
Known issues
- TBD: the thicker BOX stem can fit tightly on thin ABS caps.
